Act of Kindness #14 & 15

Act of Kindness #14 was last Wednesday, I think it was Weds anyway. I forget what I did yesterday half the time, much less try to remember last week!

Jeff and I weren't in the cooking mood after we got off of work, so we decided to go to Moe's..."Welcome to Moe's!". While we were in line, a serviceman from the Army came walking in wearing his fatigues and got in line a couple people down from us. When I got up to pay, I paid for mine and Jeff's, then handed the cashier a $10 and told him to put it towards the guys meal when he got up there, anything left over just put in the tip jar. He seemed a little confused at first and hopefully he did as instructed because I didn't pay attention once we sat down. At any rate, I hope the man enjoyed his dinner!

Act of Kindness #15 I actually ordered a couple of weeks ago for someone and had been holding onto it for about a week and a half...it's kind of like having extra money, it burns a hole in your pocket and I couldn't wait to see them to give it, so I dropped it off at their house haha.

A couple that are friends of ours are getting married in a few weeks and I learned that her grandfather passed away a few weeks ago. My heart just broke for her because mine was completely crushed when my grandpa passed. I couldn't imagine if it were only a short time before my wedding :( I wanted to do something for them that could be used at their wedding if they wanted, so I called my brother to try to do some sneaky work for me...needless to say he is horrible at it and I may as well have just told them what I was doing haha. I got a hold of her and was able to get her grandpa's name and the names of any other parents/grandparents that may have passed, but didn't tell her what I wanted them for. I had this sign made for them and dropped it off at their house Friday afternoon as a surprise. She contacted me when she got it and they both couldn't have been more grateful...I hope it made their afternoon :)
