7 Years Later...Still Going Strong

I cannot believe that as of August 19th it has been 7 years since I married my best friend! It just does not feel like we have been married that long, or that we have been together for 9 years total!

When I say Jeff is my best friend, he truly is. I can be myself around him with no judgement, tell him anything on my mind, he puts up with my crazy family (and I legit have some crazy family members), he makes my laugh all the time and tells me he loves me and that I am beautiful every.single.day. My family absolutely loves him too! I swear sometimes that they would trade me for him. By no means are we a perfect couple! We have our disagreements with one another like any other couple, but we don't have fights. Anytime we don't agree, we are usually over it in 5 minutes or just agree to disagree. He is laid back, quiet and reserved and let's things just roll of his back which I think has rubbed off on me over the years. I have definitely learned to pick and choose my battles whether it be with him or anyone else. He is usually the voice of reason with everything!

So for our anniversary this year, we took the day off work and just spent the day together just him and I. We went to J. Christopher's for breakfast...let's just say that it was not what everyone hyped it up to be. I can say now that I went and tried it, but I would rather go to Cracker Barrel the next go round. He had got me a gift card so I could get some clothes for work I wanted (he paid attention when we broused the outlet mall the weekend before), so we headed to the outlet mall and shopped a little. Then we went to the grocery store and bought steaks, crab legs, baked potatoes and broccoli to cook for dinner and it was AWESOME!..wish I had it for breakfast instead haha. He had also bought me a couple of other gifts. I am a simple girl...give me anything for the kitchen, especially related to baking, and I am a happy girl!

7 Roses for 7 years of Marriage

 

 I've been wanting a cupcake holder that actually holds 24 cupcakes, so he go me one!

No idea why my pictures keep turning sideways, but anyway...This year was Copper and Wool so I bought this engraved copper sign that says "Flanagan" on it with our wedding date. I also bought him a copper wallet card that had a little saying on it. Then I bought him some wool socks haha, I figured he could use them for hunting coming up!
